If I had not gotten COVID/Strep Throat/Flu or some other viral incubus of a plague, this post would have come earlier this week. But I’m only one person and have done more than my share of sleeping, coughing and lost my voice this week. At least it doesn’t take a voice to type a blog!
My last day at the Capitol Mall, (when I went into HardRock Cafe for a an oreo milkshake after Mass @St.Patrick’s) I met Ann. Her husband died in 9/11 and she was working on some fries when I sat down to start a conversation. It was amazing to find out that she is retired law enforcement and her husband had worked in the twin towers that horrifically tragic day. She has opened a freelance photography biz and asked me to help her with a website (of course I will happily gift her one) so she can gather the income she needs to sell her incredibly talented images. This conversation happened after President Trump address the nation from the tomb of the Unknown Soldier on Memorial Day. We’ve become fast friends and I look forward to a special collaboration.
I also visited the Vietnam memorial, Korean memorial, Lincoln Memorial, and made my second visit to the LOC (Madison Center).

After multiple miles of walking through (and around the mall) I made my way toward Mass. I encountered many homeless people on the streets, panhandling, and then stumbled across the Housing Authority. Which made sense that it was near the Catholic Church!

I’m still trying to figure out how to insert video into my blogs (on a WIXdashboard), but one of these days, I’ll be able to really get this site working for me. I’m offline to catch my next airplane HOME. (There’s NO place like home:) 👠👠
For your most strategic and next BEST move!
